1. Instead of mounting directly on the wall, can the unit vent through a standard 4 inch duct like a portable/mobile unit generally does?
Unfortunately not, the unit is designed to be piped through the wall to external grille, all pipework is included with the unit.
2. What sort of hole fitting is required for this unit?
There needs to be two 162mm cores and then a 16mm core for the
condensate drain.
3. What can the min/max thickness of the wall be?
The minimum and maximum thickness of the wall should be 2 inches and 24 inches respectively.
4. Is there any plumbing required?
No, the unit does not require any plumbing.
5. Is the installation entirely DIY or does it require specialist equipment?
Unit installation would require only a core drill, which can be hired
from any suitable hire shop.
6. Does it come with all materials, parts and installation instructions?
Yes, all the parts and instructions are included.
7. Does the unit come with any guarantee?
The item comes with a full return-to-base guarantee. If the unit cannot be repaired within a copule of days then it will be replaced.
8. How much codensate does this machine make?
The unit can extract 1.8litres per hour in cooling mode, dependent upon the atmospheric conditions.
9. Is this unit similar to an 'expelair digitemp'?
Yes the unit is similar, except it is more powerful and able to do both cooling and heating.
